SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The National Library of Australia in conjunction with the State Library of Western Australia have chosen this web site to be included in its Pandora Archives as a specially selected site because it documents the cultural, social, political life and activities of the Australian community as well as collecting timely materials that document significant events relating to Australia and the Australian people. Only chosen and selected sites are invited to be included in this program.

It is with great pride to make this announcement because it means that years of collecting and recording our local history has  been recognised and now will be safely retained and preserved forever.
